12 teams to watch during March Madness, based on 2024 NBA Draft projections
While there are other paths to the NBA that do not involve the NCAA, many prospects selected in the 2024 NBA Draft will come from college.
More likely than not, several of the first few names called in this class are prospects currently playing overseas. Some of the most enticing players include Alex Sarr (Australia), Zaccharie Risacher (France), and Nikola Topic (Serbia). But there are still quite a few prospects in men’s college basketball who will have an opportunity to become household names in the Big Dance.
Although some players who had lofty preseason expectations (e.g. USC’s Isaiah Collier) will not get a chance to show what they can in March Madness, others will have a chance to separate themselves as bona fide lottery picks or first-round candidates.
Here are some of those players with a chance to do that when the men’s tournament begins.
