Ghana boxer Takyi starts his 13th African Games campaign

ACCRA, March 17 (Xinhua) -- Ghana's boxing sensation Samuel Takyi, the Tokyo Olympic bronze medalist, started his 13th African Games campaign with an easy win at the Bukom Boxing Arena here on Sunday.

Takyi, who turned 23 last December, beat Berchami Mehdi from Morocco, in the first round of the light welterweight bout.

Takyi knocked down his opponent three times, leaving the referee with no other option
