Nottingham Forest points deduction updates — Prem side face tense wait as decision expected to be announced today
NOTTINGHAM Forest are expected to learn the results of a hearing into its Premier League profit and sustainability rules breach this week.
The Prem side could face a points deduction after being charged with breaches alongside Everton in January.
Anything more than a three-point penalty would see Forest crash into the relegation zone, below Luton Town, with just nine games to go.
Forest boss Nuno Espirito Santo has called for clarity on the situation as his team fights to cling to their Premier League status.
“We’re waiting and let’s wait and see,” he said Thursday.
“We don’t know when it could happen, but the club will take care of that. Football-wise, we just focus on the pitch. We don’t know when it’s going to come. I prefer the sooner the better.”
