How a new BetMGM-Marriott Bonvoy partnership will help bettors earn more travel points
In the ever-competitive landscape of sports betting (and travel), companies are always looking for ways to differentiate themselves. BetMGM and Marriott Bonvoy’s respective rewards program announced a partnership on Monday to help do just that — and bettors should be thrilled.
The partnership between the companies creates the largest rewards collaboration in the online sports betting and iGaming industry and allows members in licensed states to link their Marriott Bonvoy and BetMGM accounts. BetMGM is now live in 29 markets across the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico.

Not only does the deal extend our brand to hundreds of millions of potential new customers, but our players have unique benefit of utilizing their game play to Marriott’s unrivaled perks.”
When BetMGM customers wager on sports or iGaming, they will earn BetMGM Rewards Points, which they will then be able to be transfer into their Marriott Bonvoy account.
For bettors, this gives another value proposition outside of sportsbooks that offer nothing in return for your betting except potential winnings. Much like credit card reward points, this could signal a shift into sportsbooks competing for bettors’ dollars by pushing rewards — as opposed to simply promos up front for signing up.
