READY FREDDIE GO (4.55 Catterick, nap)
He showed blistering pace in first-time blinkers when winning at Thirsk 12 days ago. The headgear is retained and a 4lb rise is unlikely to anchor him. He should be able to win again before the handicapper takes back control.
RORY THE CAT (4.05 Musselburgh, nb)
Has won three times at this track and clearly goes well here. He won with plenty in hand over shorter despite his jockey dropping his whip late on. A 3lb rise is on the lenient side and even though he has a bit to prove stepping up to this marathon trip he still has untapped potential as a stayer.
HANG IN THERE (5:10 Worcester, treble)
Was not at his best when only third at Uttoxeter last month. He never really settled and his jumping was scrappy. This shorter trip will suit better and most importantly good ground is in his favour.
Catterick
2.15 Stapleford Park – has run well over 6f but drop back to 5f could bring out improvement
2.45 Flight Radar – miles clear on form and should win this in a hack canter
3.15 Elettaria – showed enough last time to suggest she can go close here
3.50 John Kirkup – very consistent and well treated on best form
4.25 Jamih – won better race at Thirsk last time and can cope with 3lb rise
4.55 Ready Freddie Go (NAP) – repeat of last win will see him hard to beat
5.30 Gis A Sub – well drawn and could be hard to catch
6.00 Highjacked – solid performer at this level and goes well at this track
Musselburgh
2.30 Lightning Galaxy – shaped with plenty of promise on debut
3.00 Solar Biricz – much improved when solid third at Beverley
3.35 Evelyn’s Phoenix – always in control at Ripon last time
4.05 Rory The Cat (nb) – won with plenty in hand here despite his jockey dropping his whip
4.35 Vince Le Prince – bolted up at Catterick and 5lb penalty unlikely to stop him
5.05 Call Me Ginger – tumbled down the weights and one to beat on best form Kempton
6.00 Dunamase – cost half million quid and will come on plenty for promising debut
6.30 Makes Sense – sets a decent standard on form
7.00 Cognisance – smart performance on debut and looks different class
7.30 Birkin – bred to be much better than this grade
8.00 Into Battle – ran well in better races and can make the most of a drop in class
8.30 Felicity – can be a tricky ride but yet to see the best of her
9.00 Inappropriate – is crying out for a test of stamina
Worcester
4.40 Invincible Wish – goes best fresh and well on top over track & trip in July
5.10 Hang In There (treble) – raced too keenly last time but big chance if back to best
5.40 Queen Of The Vale – lots to like debut win here in July
6.10 Letterston Lily – big effort behind a subsequent Listed winner last time
6.40 Kiss My Face – wide-margin win over track & trip last time and can cope with 10lb rise
7.10 Donnie Azoff – finished well at Uttoxeter and big chance in current mood
7.40 My Chiquita – improving over timber and yet to see the best of her
