Fox's referee camera angle made this Quinn Ewers' touchdown vs. Michigan look effortless

0

In a Week Two matchup between a pair of teams that made the College Football Playoff last season, Texas opened up the scoring against Michigan on Saturday in the Big House with quarterback Quinn Ewers throwing the first touchdown of the game.

And one camera angle in particular made the Longhorns’ quarterback’s score look effortless.

We’ve seen the referee camera view before from Fox’s college football broadcasts – like last season when Jim Harbaugh got a little too close to one – but this time, it actually made a play on the field look cooler.

From the ref’s point of view, fans can see Ewers scan the field, escape a sack, step through blockers and then fire the ball to tight end Gunnar Helm in the back of the endzone.

It’s a play that should wind up on Ewers’ end-of-season highlight reel, perhaps one we’ll see leading up to the Heisman Trophy ceremony or the 2025 NFL Draft.
