Skye Nicolson won a clear decision over Raven Chapman in Riyaadh.

Skye Nicolson won a wide decision over Raven Chapman to remain undefeated and retain her WBC featherweight title in Riyadh.

Nicolson (12-0, 1 KO) didn’t have a whole lot of trouble in the matchup, as once she settled into the fight and got her timing down, she was rather handily out-boxing Chapman (9-1, 2 KO), which reflects in the scores of 98-92, 98-92, and 99-91 from the ringside judges.

Nicolson, 29, won the vacant WBC belt back in April and has already defended twice, staying busy as she looks to become at least one of the faces of women’s boxing for the foreseeable future.

Chapman, 30, was a solid contender on paper and gave this her best go, but Nicolson’s skills are going to be tough for anyone to beat.

Nicolson has taken to using “Future Undisputed” as her nickname, it appears, and could have her sights set on Amanda Serrano next year. Serrano holds the WBA, IBF, and WBO titles at featherweight, and will be challenging Katie Taylor for Taylor’s undisputed super lightweight championship on Nov. 15.
