Neymar injured again in AFC Champions League Elite tie in Iran
November 5 – Two weeks after returning from an ACL injury, Brazilian star Neymar has injured his thigh in a 29-minute substitute appearance for Al-Hilal in the Asian Champions League.
In the 58th minute of Al Hilal’s 3-0 win against Esteghlal of Iran, Neymar came on but his cameo didn’t last long, departing again in the 87th minute after he went to the ground and grabbed the back of his right leg.
The match against Esteghlal was Neymar’s second appearance in the last year after he ruptured his ACL and meniscus in a World Cup qualifier with Brazil against Uruguay.
