Baker Mayfield's face during OT coin toss said it all before Chiefs win
Baker Mayfield knew it the moment the referee said, “It is heads.”
That was the result of the pre-overtime coin toss in the Kansas City Chiefs’ 30-24 win over his Tampa Bay Buccaneers. And Mayfield had called “tails.”
The quarterback threw his head back and winced, proving that he knew what was about to happen: the Chiefs would drive down the field and score a touchdown, not allowing Mayfield and the Bucs to see the field once in the extra session.
