Mike Gundy Issues Apology Over Comments

Oklahoma State head coach Mike Gundy issued an apology on social media on Tuesday night.

Gundy apologized for his comments during a media zoom call on Monday, critical of OSU fans.

In his apology Gundy said "I apologize to those who my comments during Monday's media call offended. My intent was not to offend any of our fans who have supported us and this program through the years."

During the call, Gundy said “In most cases the people who are negative and voicing their opinions are the same ones that can’t pay their own bills. They’re not taking care of themselves. They’re not taking care of their own family.”

Gundy will lead the Cowboys against TCU this Saturday at 6:00.

OSU is off to their first 0-6 start in Big 12 play since 2001 and on their first six-game losing streak since 2000.
