Australian pacer Josh Hazlewood's Border-Gavaskar Trophy campaign ended prematurely due to a right calf strain sustained during the Gabba Test. Hazlewood, recently returned from a side strain, bowled only one over before leaving the field. His absence is a significant blow to Australia's bowling attack. Scott Boland is expected to replace him for the remaining matches in Melbourne and Sydney.
