Turkish FA hits Adana Demirspor with fines and points deduction after player walk-off
February 17 – The Turkish Football Federation’s disciplinary committee has announced the sanctions following the abandoned Turkish Super Lig match between Galatasaray and Adana Demirspor on February 9.
Adana Demirspor have been hit with a 3:0 forfeit of the match and a further three points deduction. Adana currently occupies the bottom place in league.
Adana owner Murat Sanak was also punished with a 30-day suspension and a TL 500,000 (€ 13,100) fine.
