RIO FERDINAND commended matchwinner Harvey Elliott for his professionalism after Liverpool beat PSG.
Elliott took just 46 seconds to notch the Reds’ winner in Paris after replacing Mo Salah from the bench late on.

Elliott, 21, spoke to media on the pitch after the match aongside man of the match winner Alisson, who kept Liverpool in it with a string of superb saves.
But he also found time to warm down after the match and was put through his paces alongside his fellow subs.
Rio Ferdinand, who was on commentary for TNT Sport’s coverage of the clash, applauded Elliott’s attitude after watching him complete his strecthes.
The former defender said: “Professionalism that, of the highest order.”
Elliott has had to remain patient for his chances this season, having made just four starts this campaign.
But he has enjoyed playing in Europe this season and now has three goals in his last three Champions League appearances.

Elliott’s strike was just Liverpool’s second in the entire match, coming in the 87th minute.
PSG had 27 shots and dominated the ball with 71 per cent possession, but were thwarted by a combination of Alisson and VAR, which ruled out Khvicha Kvaratskhelia’s first half strike.
