Former IBF Middleweight Champion Vincenzo Gualtieri Back In Action

Former IBF middleweight champion Vincenzo Gualtieri (24-1-1) is back in the ring after almost a year out tomorrow night (January 17) in Landshut (Germany).

Gualtieri is in against Hungarian journeyman Attila Koros (who is better than his record of 18-40-3) in a scheduled six rounder made at super middleweight.

The Agon Sports promoted Gualtieri won the IBF title in 2023 by beating Brazilian Esquiva Falcao but lost the title in his first defense against Zhanibek Alimkhanuly.

Koros has fought on the road a lot taking on all comers even fighting at cruiserweight but is a capable fighter at 160 or 168 as seen by his two draws against Szabolcs Szabo last year in Hungarian title fights.
