Study reports increasing economic impact of Portuguese League’s Allianz Cup’s Final Four
January 19 – The Allianz Cup’s Final Four continues to strengthen its position as one of Portuguese football’s most commercially relevant domestic events, generating an estimated €16.7 million in economic impact for the host region, according to a new study by IPAM.
Staged in Leiria this month, the Allianz Cup Final Four brings together the four remaining clubs from Portugal’s League Cup, with qualification secured earlier in the season through a group-stage format involving Primeira Liga sides.
