[Men's Basketball] Vermont Tech Tops Williamson

Playing their first game since December 19, Williamson was bound to show some rust.  Despite that, they managed to hold a 27-26 over visiting Vermont Tech.  The second half was a different story however, as Vermont Tech's depth wore Williamson down, as they eventually pulled away with a 70-57 victory. 

Williamson was led by Gus Pagan (SR/Prospect Park, PA), who had 19 points.  Vontangoe Donzo (FR/Darby, PA) chipped in with 17 points, 13 rebounds and 8 blocked shots.  David Derby (SR/Pitman, NJ) had eight points, four rebounds and three assists for the Mechanics.

The game was the opener of the 2019 Williamson Winter Classic.  Central Penn College took on NHTI in the nightcap.

Williamson takes on NHTI tomorrow at 12:00 P.M. in the second round of the tournament.
