[Men's Tennis] Young Mechanics Tennis Squad Battles in Season Opener

Williamson Free School of Mechanical Trades Baseball 

With a line-up that included an entirely new singles line-up from a year ago, a young Williamson tennis team took on Penn State Brandywine on the road Wednesday afternoon. Despite their inexperience and a to be expected slow start, the Mechanics put forth a solid showing in a losing effort before falling to the Lions, 6-3.

[Men's Lacrosse] Dickinson's Fourth Quarter Blitz Leads to Williamson Win

With Williamson and Sussex County College knotted at 6-6 heading into the fourth quarter, and the Skylanders gaining momentum, the Mechanics needed someone to step up in the fourth quarter if they were going to pull out a victory.  Matt Dickinson (FR/Springfield, PA) did just that, scoring four straight goals in less than eight minutes to lead Williamson to a hard-fought 10-7 home victory Sunday afternoon.

Team scores 14 first quarter goals and never looks back in 18-1 win

The Williamson lacrosse team scored a school record 14 first period goals and coasted from there, as they defeated host Union County College 17-1 on Wednesday afternoon in Cranford, New Jersey.

The win moves Williamson above .500 for the first time all year, as they move to 5-4 on the year.  They next host Sussex County College on Sunday afternoon.

[Baseball] Despite Strong Fight, Williamson Mechanics Can't Top Christendom College

Williamson Free School of Mechanical Trades Baseball 

Despite a 9-run deficit in the fifth inning, Williamson Mechanics almost came all the way back, eventually falling 9-7 to Christendom College on Saturday.  Williamson Mechanics scored seven runs in the failed comeback on a home run by Cody Grande (FR/Brookhaven, PA), a home run by Joshua Illing (FR/Springfield, PA), a double by Patrick Jones (FR/Havertown, PA), a double by Kyle Marshall (JR/Springfield, PA), a error, and a double by Stephen Gualtieri (JR/Aston, PA).

[Baseball] Williamson Goes Down on Final Play Against Christendom College

It came down to the last play, but Williamson was on the wrong end of an 11-10 defeat to Christendom College on Saturday.  The game was tied at ten with Christendom College batting in the bottom of the eighth when Stephen Gualtieri (JR/Aston, PA) induced Skoba to hit into a fielder's choice, but the winning run wa able to score to the Crusaders and doublehader sweep.

[Men's Lacrosse] Undermanned Mechanics Give It All They Can in Loss to NY Foe

Williamson Free School of Mechanical Trades Baseball 

Down three starters due to a horticulture competition in Mississippi, including their second leading scorer, an undermanned Williamson lacrosse team refused to be intimidated against NJCAA power Hudson Valley Community College (NY).  In fact, after falling behind early, the Mechanics actually went out in front.  While Hudson Valley would regain the lead, Williamson found themselves down by just two goals with under six minutes to play before eventually falling to the Vikings, 11-8

[Baseball] Mechanics Come Back to Win Game 2 Over PSU Scranton

Andrew Williams (SR/Philadelphia, PA) had quite a game for Williamson in the second game of their doubleheader against Penn State Scranton on Wednesday afternoon.  After giving starting the game on the mound for Williamson and keeping the team in the game early on, it was his bat that did the damage late in the game, including his game winning walk-off double that gave Williamson a dramatic come-from-behind win, 12-11, over Penn State Scranton to lead his team to the win and give Williamson to split. [Baseball] Baseball Drops Season Opener

Williamson Free School of Mechanical Trades Baseball 

Things started off well for the Williamson baseball team, as they opened their 2023 baseball season at home in game one of a doubleheader with Penn State Scranton.  Joe Kelly (JR/Newtown Square, PA) blasted a three run first inning home run to help propel them to an early 9-4 lead.  Unfortunately for Williamson, things did not end as well as they started, as the Lions rallied to take game one of the doubleheader, 16-14.

[Men's Wrestling] Talon Pisarchuk Falls in National Final at 165 Pounds to #1 Seed

Williamson Free School of Mechanical Trades Baseball 

Taking on the #1 seeded wrestler, Cole Nance from Bellarmine University at 165 lbs. in the national championship match, Talon was an underdog, but that didn't stop him from grabbing an early 2-0 in the first period.  Nance was able to tie things up at 2-2 at the end of the period and then gained a point on an escape to go up 3-2.  He then took Talon down in a way where he was able to work his way to a second period pin of Talon and gain the national championship.
