1 dead, 5 others wounded in shooting outside Phoenix motel
PHOENIX (AP) — Authorities say an 18-year-old woman is dead and three other people critically wounded after a shooting outside a Phoenix motel.
Phoenix police say the incident occurred about 11:30 a.m. Sunday near Van Buren and 25th streets.
They say two men got into a verbal altercation with a group of people on the second floor of the Airport Inn.
Police say one suspect reportedly pulled out a handgun and fired multiple shots.
They say one of the suspects was wounded in the incident and was among six people shot.
Police are searching for the other suspect in the shooting.
The victims ranged in age from 18 to 41 years old. Their names haven't been released yet.
