Nigerian army rescues 7 children and 2 women abducted from an orphanage last month

Nigeria's army says that seven children and two women abducted last month in Nigeria have been rescued by troops. The country's army made the announcement of the rescue in a statement that was dated Wednesday but released on Thursday. Authorities in Kogi state said that gunmen attacked an Islamic orphanage in Lokoja on April 26. The attackers abducted 23 pupils and 15 were immediately rescued.
