Antonio Brown to the 49ers? It’s just talk at this point

This week, Jerry Rice said Antonio Brown wants to play for the 49ers “really bad” and the Steelers disgruntled wide receiver recently followed a 49ers’ social-media account while deleting a reference to the Steelers on his Twitter bio.

Two of the 49ers’ captains, tight end George Kittle and left tackle Joe Staley, have flirted with the seven-time Pro Bowler on social media and Brown has responded favorably.

The Steelers have made it clear they might trade Brown this offseason and one betting web site, Bookmaker.eu, has made the 49ers the big favorites to secure his services.

So what does this all mean?

That’s right: next to nothing.
