CNN’s ‘New Day’ Viewership Has Dropped Nearly 9 Percent Since Chris Cuomo’s Jump to Primetime
CNN’s “New Day” fell further behind its cable rivals in viewership in 2018, sinking nearly 9 percent in total viewers (576,000) and 17 percent in the key news demographic of 25- to 54-year-olds (188,000).
And the picture has gotten worse since the morning show’s popular co-host Chris Cuomo left the show last May for his own primetime gig, an analysis of Nielsen data reveals.
