Construction will be one of the biggest behind-the-scenes components of the arts and cultural scene in the Capital Region during 2019. Multiple long-established institutions in Albany and Saratoga Springs will have major construction projects underway or in the final planning stages. On the other side of things, newer groups that have found success in their early years are growing bolder in their ambitions, making programming choices designed to build and challenge their audiences.
