Sound Off: Why is a buyer counseling session a must?
A: It is very important to conduct an initial buyer consultation to educate the buyer as to the process, and let them know what problems may be encountered and how they are resolved. This will save a lot of time and hopefully avoid any negative surprises in what can be a time sensitive and emotionally charged process.
During our first meeting, we ask questions to help determine what specific needs the buyer has for a home, and we use that information to develop a personalized search criteria. We will also provide, if needed, a local mortgage lender contact for loan preapproval based on the needs discussed, and assist in getting the buyer in touch with the best lender to meet their goals.
