Police say man intentionally hit trooper's car, made threats
LAKEWOOD, Colo. (AP) — Police in Colorado say a man has been arrested after intentionally rear-ending a state trooper's patrol car.
The Lakewood Police Department said a witness flagged the trooper down on Friday afternoon and reported that a silver pick-up truck had hit a guard rail nearby. Police say the trooper put his car in reverse and traveled down the right shoulder.
The Lakewood Police statement says the pickup driver "then intentionally rear-ended" the trooper's car. Police say the truck driver then got out and verbally threatened the trooper.
Authorities say the trooper used his stun gun and arrested the driver.
