Potlatch: 4Q Earnings Snapshot

SPOKANE, Wash. (AP) _ Potlatch Corp. (PCH) on Monday reported fourth-quarter net income of $1.8 million.

The Spokane, Washington-based company said it had profit of 3 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for costs related to mergers and acquisitions, were 4 cents per share.

The results topped Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of three analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 3 cents per share.

The timberland owner and wood products company posted revenue of $217.3 million in the period.

For the year, the company reported profit of $122.9 million, or $1.99 per share. Revenue was reported as $974.6 million.

Potlatch shares have climbed 19 percent since the beginning of the year.
