High school girls' basketball rankings

1. Shenendehowa (17-2, last week No. 1): The top-seeded Plainsmen, ranked No. 8 in the state, begin sectional play Feb. 21 when they face the winner Columbia and Niskayuna in quarterfinal play.
2. Albany (18-2, LW No. 2): Ahniysha Jackson led the way with 22 points and Jenna Citone and Hasjina Gaddy each tallied 14 points as the Falcons concluded their regular-season schedule by beating Burnt Hills 84-46.
3. Saratoga (14-5, LW No. 3): The third-seeded Blue Streaks are set to take on No. 6 seed Shaker on Feb. 21 at Albany in the quarterfinals.
4. Colonie (14-5, LW No. 4): The Garnet Raiders, winners of the 2018 sectional title, garnered the No. 4 seed and will take on No.5 Guilderland on Feb.
