The Latest: Witness heard 7 shots fired in Wyoming hospital
CASPER, Wyo. (AP) — The Latest on a man accused of firing shots at a Wyoming hospital (all times local):6:40 p.m.
A woman who was at a Wyoming hospital when a man began firing a gun says she heard seven shots.
The Casper Star-Tribune reports Yolanda Isaldo was in the emergency department of Wyoming Medical Center in Casper early Monday when she heard the gunfire.
Police say no one was hurt in the incident, which occurred at about 1 a.m.
Twenty-year-old Mitchell D. Taylor of Casper was arrested. Officers found him in a mechanical area of the hospital.
Police Chief Keith McPheeters says police used a Taser to subdue Taylor. Emergency room staff evaluated Taylor before police took him to jail.
