Jeff Samardzija pitched three shutout innings Monday against the Dodgers’ “A” lineup, minus Corey Seager, in an 8-2 loss to Los Angeles at Scottsdale Stadium. He allowed one infield single and walked two, but struck out four, including big-leaguers Max Muncy, Cody Bellinger and Chris Taylor.
