Empire are assigned QB Grady, plus others

The Albany Empire announced that 2018 Arena League MVP, Offensive Player of the Year, and first-team All-Arena quarterback Tommy Grady has been assigned to the team.

Per league and team rules, terms were not disclosed.

Grady spent 2018 with the Empire during the team's inaugural season, leading Albany to an 8-4 record and the top seed in the playoffs. He threw for 81 touchdowns and 2,960 yards, leading the league in both categories.

Albany was also assigned defensive back Tevin Homer, and receivers Dez Stewart and Jordan Williams. Williams caught one pass last season and had 18 kickoff returns for the Empire.
