The Oakland A’s optioned starter Daniel Mengden to Triple-A Las Vegas, somewhat clarifying their rotation picture. The Athletics’ top prospect, remains in the hunt for a spot, along with Frankie Montas, Aaron Brooks and Chris Bassitt.
