Dustin Fowler optioned out after nice spring for A’s

The Oakland Athletics optioned Dustin Fowler out to Triple-A Las Vegas despite his strong spring. Fowler, who was once considered the A’s center fielder of the future, will be the first outfielder recalled in the event of a need.
