Giants’ Buster Posey still treading slowly. What it means for his recovery

San Francisco Giants catcher Buster Posey has not had a significant setback in his recovery from hip surgery last summer, and the Giants still believe he will catch Madison Bumgarner in San Diego on Opening day, but manager Bruce Bochy revealed that he had to scratch Posey as the designated hitter in Sunday’s game against the Rangers because of hip soreness.
