Yes, you can be arrested for riding a horse drunk

On Sunday a California Highway Patrol officer responded to a report of a man suspected to be riding a horse while intoxicated on Highway 152 near College Road in Santa Cruz. After the officer performed a DUI evaluation he was arrested for public intoxication.
