Synthorx: 1Q Earnings Snapshot

LA JOLLA, Calif. (AP) _ Synthorx Inc (THOR) on Tuesday reported a loss of $10.9 million in its first quarter.

The La Jolla, California-based company said it had a loss of 35 cents per share.

The results fell short of Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of three analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for a loss of 32 cents per share.

Synthorx shares have fallen 12% since the beginning of the year.
