Grain, livestock mixed

CHICAGO (AP) — Grain futures were mixed Wednesday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for May delivery was up 2 cents at $4.2540 a bushel; May corn rose 4.4 cents at $3.5600 a bushel; May oats fell 4.8 cents at $3.0140 a bushel; while May soybeans was off 7 cents at 8.3740 a bushel.

Beef lower, pork higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

Jun. live cattle was off 11.17 cents at $1.1438 a pound; May. feeder cattle fell .50 cent at $1.4202 a pound; May lean hogs rose .47 cent at .8495 a pound.
