UAlbany women's lacrosse stays focused on New Hampshire
The Great Danes and Seawolves have met in seven consecutive finals with the past six going in Stony Brook's favor.
That doesn't mean the Great Danes (10-6) are taking another rematch with the Seawolves for granted. Especially not with a semifinal against New Hampshire (10-6) looming at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Stony Brook's LaValle Stadium.
The second-seeded Great Danes needed a Madison Conway goal with 14 seconds left to beat No. 3 New Hampshire 12-11 in their regular-season meeting at Casey Stadium on April 6.
"Our number one goal right now is New Hampshire, and that's our main focus,'' Conway said. "We're not thinking about anything past that. Strictly preparing for New Hampshire."
