Siena basketball gets guard from Illinois State

Hein, a 6-foot-3 guard from Windermere, Fla., will be eligible immediately.

"Proud to announce I have committed to Siena for my final year of basketball and to finish my masters degree,'' Hein tweeted. "So looking forward to working with Coach Carm, his staff, and all my new teammates in order to bring a conference championship to Albany!"

New Siena head coach Carmen Maciariello was a Boston University assistant when the Terriers recruited Hein out of Windermere Prep.
