Teen injured in early morning Cambridge shooting
CAMBRIDGE, Mass. (AP) — Authorities say an 18-year-old was injured in an early morning shooting in Cambridge.
Police say officers responded to reports of shots fired around Eliot and John F. Kennedy streets Sunday at about 3:30 a.m. Police say officers recovered multiple shell casings in the area.
Police were notified that an 18-year-old Cambridge man had arrived at a hospital with a gunshot wound that was not believed to be life threatening.
Police say the teen told officers the shooting happened after two groups got into altercations in the Harvard Square area.
Authorities are asking anyone with information about the shooting to contact Cambridge police.
