1 Emergency landing: A Myanmar National Airlines plane made an emergency landing at Mandalay International Airport on Sunday, using only its rear wheels after the front landing gear failed to deploy. The captain followed emergency procedures to dump fuel to reduce the landing weight, said a statement from the airline. Video shot by a passenger and posted online showed an urgent but orderly evacuation of the plane.

Michael Lollesgaard, the head of a U.N. mission overseeing the cease-fire, said monitors will verify the rebels’ withdrawal. Hodeida handles 70 percent of Yemen’s food imports and humanitarian aid.
