Man found shot at a Phoenix motel; now in critical condition
PHOENIX (AP) — Police are investigating a shooting at a Phoenix motel that has left a man in critical condition.
They say the man was shot around 10 a.m. Sunday at a Super 8 motel.
Police interviewed witnesses, but they don't have a description of the suspect yet.
The name of the wounded man hasn't been released yet.
Police say officers were called out to the motel after receiving reports of gunshots heard in the area.
While checking various rooms, police say officers found an unresponsive man who had been shot and he was taken to a hospital with critical injuries.
