Dress Barn to close all 650 stores, including 8 in Bay Area

The collapse of traditional retail continues. The latest casualty is women's workwear brand Dressbarn, which announced Tuesday that it is closing all of its 650 stores.

The company's chief financial officer, Steven Taylor, said Dressbarn has not been operating at an "acceptable level of profitability in today's retail environment."
