The Nation's Weather for Sunday, May 26, 2019
_____
NATIONAL SUMMARY
Low pressure in New England tomorrow will have a cold front
extending southwest through Pennsylvania into Ohio and
continuing into the central Plains. This area will once
again be a concern for showers and thunderstorms. Some
strong thunderstorms could move through parts of the Ohio
Valley with the best chance for severe weather returning to
the West Texas area late tomorrow. Meanwhile, an unusually
powerful storm will move onshore in the West centered around
California into Nevada. This will cause several showers,
even thunderstorms with some hail, and snow showers in the
higher elevations of the Sierra Nevada. The Southeast will
remain under high pressure and as a result have plenty of
sunshine and record-breaking warmth.
