Pitcher helps Foothill win NCS title, stay perfect at 28-0 with 2-0 win over Heritage

Foothill-Pleasanton junior Nicole May fired a one-hitter, striking out 13, and blasted a two-run homer to lift the nation’s third-ranked softball team to a 2-0 victory over Heritage-Brentwood on Saturday in the North Coast Section Division 1 championship game at Diablo Valley College.
