Improve school bus safety

According to the National Conference of State Legislators, in 2017, more than 104,000 school bus drivers observed 77,972 vehicles illegally passing school buses in a single day. Although 102 pedestrians under 18 were killed in school-transportation related crashes between 2006-2015, in three days (Tuesday, Oct. 30th through Thursday, Nov. 1, 2018), five children were killed, and several adults and children were injured, while waiting for school buses or crossing the street to or from a school bus.
