Adient's stock falls after mixed preliminary results

Shares of automotive seating company Adient PLC dropped 3.4% in premarket trade Wednesday, after reporting mixed preliminary fiscal first-quarter results. The company said revenue is expected to be $4.16 billion to $4.20 billion, which surrounds the FactSet consensus of $4.18 billion. Adjusted earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) is expected to fall to $175 million from $267 million a year ago, well below the FactSet consensus of $228.6 million. Man kills wife, then self in Rajasthan's Bikaner

A man apparently killed his wife and then committed suicide in Rajasthan's Bikaner district, police said Wednesday. The accused Bhawani Dan Charan (45) killed his wife Chanda Kanwar (42) with a sharp-edged weapon on Tuesday and later committed suicide by hanging himself from a tree in his field, Lunkaransar Station House Officer Ranjeet Ram said. The couple had a domestic dispute for quite sometime, the SHO added. The bodies were handed over to the family members after post-mortem, he said.
