Australian police investigate street slaying of Israeli
CANBERRA, Australia (AP) — Australian police are looking for at least one attacker who killed an Israeli woman as she was walking on a city street speaking to her sister by phone. Detective Inspector Andrew Stamper says Aiia Maasarwe was slain at 12:10 a.m. on Wednesday shortly after she got off a tram in the Melbourne suburb of Bundoora. Stamper says Maasarwe's sister heard the phone fall to the ground and heard voices. The family alerted police around the same time that Maasarwe's body was found near the tram stop. Читать дальше...
