HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (AP) — Authorities say a man has been charged in an Alabama county's first homicide of 2019. The Madison County Sheriff's Office tells news outlets 62-year-old Larry Lee Jones was jailed on a murder charge in the shooting of 28-year-old Eric Arredondo. Deputies say Jones was at his home Saturday night when he shot Arredondo. Lt. Donny Shaw says first responders found Arredondo on the front porch suffering from a gunshot.
