Arrested Development undercuts its own legacy with a sad end to season 5

The Verge

Arrested Development’s fifth season doesn’t necessarily have to be its last. One of the most beloved, influential sitcoms of the 2000s has returned from the dead (or the near-dead) twice before: first when Netflix aired new episodes in 2013, seven years after Fox canceled the show, and then again in 2018, after creator Mitchell Hurwitz reconvened his busy cast, in hopes of satisfying the many fans disappointed with his more ambitious, experimental fourth season. The first eight episodes of season 5 arrived on Netflix last May. Читать дальше...

Halifax - FaxFans.co.uk • Re: Fax TV

Rugby League Supporters Association Online

I agree with the frustration around Fax TV. I enjoy the content in the build up to games and also the 'press conference' type video afterwards. However, No game highlights by Wednesday is pretty poor. I was probably one of only a few that actually paid for the service before it was made free as I cannot make every game. Wonder if there will be any updates from the club surrounding this.

Boing Boing

The new EU Copyright Directive will be up for its final vote in the week of Mar 25, and like any piece of major EU policy, it has been under discussion for many years and had all its areas of controversy resolved a year ago -- but then German MEP Axel Voss took over as the "rapporteur" (steward) of the Directive and reintroduced the long-abandoned idea of forcing all online services to use filters to block users from posting anything that anyone, anywhere claimed was their copyrighted work.
