Libya's UN-backed government said its forces shot down a fighter jet belonging to forces of strongman Khalifa Haftar south of the capital Tripoli on Sunday. A source for Haftar's self-styled Libyan National Army (LNA) confirmed the loss of a MiG-23 aircraft but attributed it to a "technical failure". Two men came to blows and one of them ended up in hospital in a road-rage incident near the Skate Park in Tal-Qroqq on Sunday afternoon. The police said the incident involved a Serbian man, 41 and another man from Lija, 31. The former ended up in hospital but his condition is not known. There was no actual collision. Footage of the incident was uploaded to social media. Audio has been switched off.

The collision happened on Dree Hill, Dromara, on Sunday afternoon.
