I've just been reading the AGB /WA rule book to try and find if wood core limbs are mandatory but cant find any mention of it?
I 'thought' they had to be wood core but can't find a reference to this -have I missed it or has it been brought up to date?

Loving the archery and had some experience of crafting my own longbows using cheap wood whilst I make nearly all the basic mistakes possible.

With the current situation likely to continue for some time; I have been thinking of on line coaching as an alternative.
It can be seen as a poor substitute for face to face coaching, but I think differently.

Hi All,
380 pro tour 29" with 125gr points. They are shooting alright, but to get them to act fully as they seem a little weak, i have dropped the bow down to 52lb (usually shoot it around 55lb), it also made the bow sound a lot noisier and went quiet when wound down (I don't like noise from the bow).

Far be it from me to criticise his technique (given the results it delivers!), but watching this recent footage I couldn't help but notice that Mike Schloesser seems to punch the heck out of his release aid on every shot. Looks to me like his thumb hovers over the barrel/trigger, gradually 'approaches' it in a series of little jerks, and then as soon as he actually touches it - BAM - he depresses (punches?) it fully and the shot is gone.
